Addy's finger...

On Monday, May 3rd, we were on our way to have dinner with our good friends, the Verdoorns. After using the bathroom and getting ready to head back to find a table, Addy got her finger caught in the bathroom door. That led to an ER visit and ended in 6 stitches in her teeny tiny finger. She is a trooper. While at the Er, she was crying for Sophie & Jackson- her friends we were going to have dinner with! And as we were getting ready to leave the hospital, Addy told me to "feel better, mommy!" I think she knew Kevin and I were pretty shaken up by the experience. She hasn't complained once about pain or having it wrapped, she just tells us her finger is "better- the dr. fix it!" Hopefully at the end of this week, she will have 3 of the stitches removed. The other 3 are dissolvable. What a brave little lady! (The flowers were sent from Grandma and Pop-pop to help us all feel better!)
